Almost every acoustics calculator on the internet belongs to somebody who sells absorption, so the answer is always their product. Absorption is absorption: carpet, curtains and upholstered seating count too, and for a lot of rooms a combination is cheaper and far less intrusive.

These tools work with your own rooms and numbers. Try each one with a worked example first. Echo Studio is £149 a month, with a 3-month minimum and then cancel any time. AV coverage, the noise budget and NC/NR rating are included in Echo Studio and Echo Pro. Without a subscription they are £29 a project each.
