Prices are shown in your local currency where we sell in it, otherwise in GBP. In GBP, AUD, NZD and EUR the price includes tax. In USD and CAD, tax is added at checkout where it applies and shown before you pay. Echo is supplied and sold by AcoustaPLOT Ltd. Payments are handled through Stripe Managed Payments, with Sold through Link LLC acting as merchant of record. The merchant of record works out the tax on your order.

A note on accuracy
Echo and Echo Studio's figures come from standard statistical reverberation-time equations — the same statistical method taught and used across the acoustics profession, governed by BS EN ISO 3382 for reverberation and IEC 60268-16 for speech clarity (STI). Like any statistical method, it predicts a single room-average figure from volume, surface area and absorption. It assumes a reasonably even spread of absorption and an idealised room geometry, and it uses representative published coefficients unless a manufacturer's ISO 354 test certificate has been loaded for a specific product. That makes it a strong design-stage prediction, not a substitute for a measured survey to BS EN ISO 3382-2, and not a seat-by-seat prediction of how a room behaves in every position. Where a project needs that level of detail — a late reflection that only affects one row of seats, sign-off for a contentious or contractual requirement, or evidence for a planning condition — an appointed acoustic consultant is the right route.
Questions people ask
Do I need a subscription?
No. If you have one room, pay £34.99 once and you get the figures and the report. Echo Studio's subscription is for people doing this every week — every project, every room, saved schemes and comparisons — not a way of forcing everyone else into one.
What is a license?
One person. A Studio or Pro subscription is priced per license because a practice with four people specifying rooms gets four people's use out of it. There is no per-project or per-room limit on a subscription.
What does the Studio or Pro one-off buy?
One completed analysis for one room, delivered once — mechanically the same as Echo's own £34.99 report, not an ongoing editable account. Studio's one-off is £70 and Pro's one-off is £119. Ordering is not open yet. If you need more than one room's worth, the subscription is the better fit.
Is this a survey?
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. It is an indicative prediction using the same standard method an acoustician starts from, meant for deciding what to do at design stage. Where a formal figure is needed, a measured survey to BS EN ISO 3382-2 is what confirms it.
How does it compare with appointing a consultant?
It does not replace one, and for anything contentious or contractual you should appoint one. What it replaces is the fortnight of not knowing whether you need to.
When am I actually charged for a subscription?
Not on the day you sign up. We take your card details then, but the first payment isn't taken until 15 days later — you'll see the exact date, the amount and how to cancel before you confirm, and we email you a reminder about 7 days before the first payment is taken (annual plans also get a reminder 15 days before each renewal). For Echo Studio: initial three-month minimum: £447, collected on your first payment date. This is equivalent to £149 a month. After that initial period, £149 is collected monthly from the date three months after your first payment date until cancelled. Your access starts when you sign up; if you cancel during the minimum in the ordinary way, no further payments are taken and access continues to the end of that period, without affecting your 14-day right to cancel or your rights if the service is faulty. If you want to cancel before the first payment, you can do that any time in those 15 days. (This doesn't apply to the £34.99 one-off report, which is paid at the time you order.)
Can I cancel?
Subscriptions: monthly runs on an initial three-month minimum, then rolls month-to-month until cancelled — after the minimum, cancelling stops it at the end of the billing period you're in. Annual is paid for the year upfront, so cancelling stops the next renewal but doesn't refund the months left in the year you've already paid for. You also have a statutory right to cancel a new subscription within 14 days for any reason — full detail is in our Terms of Service. Every paid report is checked before it is released, normally within minutes; you can cancel and be refunded while it is being held, and if it hasn't been released within two working days of payment we refund you in full automatically. Once a report has been released to you the 14-day change-of-mind right has gone (you agree to that before paying), but your rights if something is wrong with it remain. Either way, everything you've already downloaded stays yours.

Studio and Pro
Five working tools, included with Echo Studio
These tools work with your own rooms and numbers. Try each one with a worked example first. Echo Studio is £149 a month, with a 3-month minimum and then cancel any time. AV coverage, the noise budget and NC/NR rating are included in Echo Studio and Echo Pro. Without a subscription they are £29 a project each. The Decision Pack (£69 a room) and the Acoustic Brief Builder (£75 per room type) are sold separately and are not part of Studio or Pro. Ordering for these opens soon.
