Fixing the Sports Hall Acoustic Nightmare
5:45
Illustrative worked example. Same brief as the written case study this episode is drawn from -- a realistic room run through Echo, not an account of a named past client. Read it in full: A sports hall that has to do three different jobs.
Episode notes
An illustrative example: a school sports hall with a very reverberant space, checked against Sport England guidance.
The decision: ceiling rafts hung between the rooflights (daylight deliberately preserved) plus high-level wall panels kept above the ball-strike zone. A curtain divider was priced as a reserve option but not used.
