How Echo Pro sees a room.
Echo and Echo Studio predict a room's reverberation and speech clarity using a statistical method, and the right one for the overwhelming majority of rooms. Echo Pro is a different engine entirely: ray-tracing, built for the rooms where a single average number stops being honest.
See Pro pricing →What the Pro report shows
Pro looks at your room seat by seat, so a room average cannot hide the weak positions. You see which seats get clear speech and which do not, and the report shows where treatment helps most. The exact figures come with your own report.
One number becomes many
A room average is right for most rooms. Pro goes further and gives an answer for individual positions, so you can see who in the room is well served and who is not.
It points at the cause, not just the symptom
A single figure can tell you a room rings. Pro is built to show where in the room the problem is felt most and what kind of change helps, so a fix can be aimed rather than guessed.
Most valuable where geometry matters
Pro works for any room, and it earns its place where the shape of the room, such as raked seating or a balcony, makes one average unhelpful.
Not a replacement for Echo or Studio
Most rooms — offices, classrooms, restaurants, retail floors — are well served by the statistical method Echo and Studio already use: fast, and accurate for that kind of space. Pro works on any of those same rooms too, and gives the more detailed, seat-by- seat answer wherever you want it — it's not reserved for anywhere in particular. It matters most where "the room averages 1.9 seconds" genuinely isn't enough to plan a fix from: lecture theatres, auditoriums, concert halls, anywhere seating is raked or a balcony overhangs part of the room.
